The Verkhovna Rada adopted the Law “On Accession of Ukraine to the Convention Relating to the Status of Stateless Persons”

The law stipulates accession to the Convention Relating to the Status of Stateless Persons of September 28, 1954.

The convention is aimed at regulation and improvement of legal status of stateless persons and securing fundamental rights and liberties of stateless persons, as well as etermines obligations of the state in regard to them.

The respective bill was registered under No. 0007.
